Risechamp Pre and Primary School

Risechamp is a pre and primary school with registration number EM 19932 operated by the philosophy of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church which ensures that children are raised and grow physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually pleasing to God and mankind.

SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

The School is committed to qualitative-focused education that aims to achieve excellence in academic, spiritual, discipline, respect, integrity and hard work. SCHOOL GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

It is the aim of the School to build up helpful learning climate according to the national and international standards which prepare primary school pupils well and equip them adequately for secondary School and other advanced studies. It likewise views on providing balanced education with the aim of recognizing various talents endowed on each child to enable them develop full talents at International level, thus, giving them ability to think globally but act locally. .

TEACHING STAFF

Risechamp employs teaching staff that hold equivalent qualifications. We are not merely employing a teacher, but we employ qualified professionals, experienced, competent, committed staff readily available to work harmoniously with pupils and parents.

TEAM SPIRIT

We advocate and encourage for team spirit (collaborating between teachers and parents). Even if your child has no problem at School, you are encouraged to communicate with the administration, the teacher, matron, Patron at times. Developing team spirit between parents and teachers can help your child succeed in School. We encourage solving problems through discussions.

CO – CURRICULUM (ACADEMIC)

The School Academic work base wholly on the work drawn from the Tanzania primary School’s syllabus. At Risechamp, Pupils attempt two monthly tests and one quarterly examination. Each monthly test contributes 25% to the final score at the end of the quarter while the final exam account for the remaining 50%.

EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES

Outside the classroom, pupils are exposed to numerous opportunities for recreation- sports and games, Pathfinder, Adventurer, Subject Clubs, daily worship, Mission trips and numerous singing groups. We also insist on work education to be part of our education curriculum according to our philosophy, which believes that the use of hands is NOBLE and HONOURABLE.
