Saturday is the day of worship at Risechamp, thus all border pupils are obliged to attend church services. Pupils are also required to attend daily worships i.e. Morning devotion and Evening vespers without any failing.
Bible subject is compulsory for all pupils, thus, parents are required to buy Bibles from the school for their children.
A pupil cannot be registered minus the Bible at hand.
Authorized, appropriate uniforms and hair styles are recommendable. No hair painting is allowed.
Bangles, necklaces, rings, wigs, and applying cosmetics, etc. are strictly prohibited at school.
No pupil is allowed to go beyond the gate and the school boundaries alone without permission from the school authority and accompanied by either the parent, responsible caretaker i.e. matron/ patron, or the teacher on duty.
Keep and respect the school properties, your personal properties, and your fellow pupils’ properties. Carelessness will not be tolerated. Compensation will be done by the parent on the damaged property done by the pupils.
Abusive language and Jokes are strictly prohibited.
No fighting or rough play such as pushing, kicking, chasing wrestling, or throwing objects anyhow should be exercised to anyone, any time.
Pupils should respect and show reverence in the house of prayers as well as keeping God’s Ten Commandments.
Obey and respect all the school administration staff members and the prefects.
Punctuality must be observed all the time.
English is the medium of instruction and communication. Speak English all the time.
Academic promotion from one class to the next is on merit. No pupils will be promoted below 65% for whatever reasons whatsoever.
All subjects and periods of study are compulsory
All school meals are compulsory to all pupils and must be taken from the dining hall and not outside.
Pupils must not leave school or receive visitors prior permission from the administration.
Pupils are expected to portray a high degree of discipline.
Report all cases of illness immediately to the immediate caretaker, matron, patron, or to administration.
Do not receive or keep any kind or amount of money. All money should be paid or surrendered to the school cashier in exchange for the receipt there and then.
Do not bring to school any dangerous or unwanted items (things) such as razor blades, knives, matchboxes, etc.
No external meals or food is allowed.
Maintain silence on campus. Refrain from unnecessary noises, shouting, and screaming of any kind are not allowed.
Keep yourself smart throughout the day.
Keep the environment; clean and avoid throwing papers and other rubbish anyhow.
Do not spoil or cut flowers, trees, etc.
No pupil shall be admitted/ registered at the beginning of the term without settling school fees and textbooks.
All pupils’ visitations should follow the School Calendar. Parents are allowed to come to School any day for official duties but are not allowed to see pupils or talk to pupils.
Family issues like weddings, greeting relatives, parties, etc. will not be entertained. Pupils will not be allowed to leave School for such issues. Wisdom should be used during the death of distant relatives too. Pupils become psychologically affected when they attend them.
Risechamp Pre and Primary School working hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm. Sundays and Public holidays are strictly for appointments.
Suspensible Mistakes
Misplacing / losing property e.g., Books, Bible, etc.
Carelessness/ uncleanliness (body and uniform)
Not attending to duties e.g. cleaning classes, washing utensils, and dormitories
Speaking Kiswahili.
Extreme jokes involving parents’ names and strong arguments.
Disobeying the elders and prefects.
Making noise and disturbing others in the class.
Failure to report to the teachers or elders bad behaviors of fellow pupils/ hiding the truth.
Discussing elders and giving them funny names.
Copying fellow pupil’s work.
Failure to complete one’s homework or assignment.
Failure to participate fully in extracurricular activities e.g. Sports and Games, PF, etc.
Improper use of the toilet and bathroom.
Escaping meals at school.
Speaking lies and accusing other pupils falsely.
Jumping the queue/ Not respecting the lineup for food.
Not carrying the Bible to worship services
Expulsive Mistakes
Stealing other Pupil's properties.
Abusing fellow pupils and name calling or using abusive gestures.
If found with unwanted properties at school e.g., DVD’S, VCDS, Rings, and any form of stuff.
Consuming and accepting food from parents and relatives on visitation days.
Intentionally destroying the school properties and fellow pupils’ properties.
Fighting at school.
Failure to finish one’s homework or classwork on several occasions.
Giving false information to teachers and parents.
Having sexual relationships at school e.g., writing love letters, hugging and holding one another in dark places, or discussing boy-girl relationships at School.
